A little direction goes a long way

Meet PeraNabi.

ペラナビ — your guide to Japanese fluency.

PeraNabi is an English-language Japanese-learning resource hub for people working toward JLPT N5–N3. It brings a small set of useful links and practical starter guides into one place, so choosing what to study takes less time.

A weekly newsletter is planned but not open yet. For now, you can explore the resources and follow new guides by RSS.

How PeraNabi works

PeraNabi uses AI assistance for curation, research, and writing. Jason Kobayashi runs and updates this guide. The resources we link to are made by their own creators, so check details with the publisher, and let us know at peranabi@agentmail.to if something looks wrong.

Linked third-party resources are run by their own creators; PeraNabi doesn’t control or vouch for their content.

The first 10 resources were selected and link-checked on 14 October 2026. Paid prices change, so each listing points you to the publisher for current pricing. Where we are unsure about something, the listing says so.

Level labels are our suggestions, not official JLPT alignment. These guides are starting points for a study routine, not promises of exam results.

Editorial independence

  • Sponsors never affect resource picks, ordering, or rankings. PeraNabi does not sell reviews.
  • A resource already in the collection stays in its existing position if it becomes a sponsor, and its listing gains a clear sponsor disclosure.
  • A sponsor outside the collection does not get added just for paying.
  • All paid placements are labelled 広告 / Sponsored. If a newsletter editorial pick is also a sponsor, it receives a Sponsor note. One sponsor cannot occupy both the paid slot and an editorial pick in the same issue.
  • Any paid social post starts with #ad / 広告; an ordinary post mentioning a sponsor includes a Sponsor note.

Affiliate links

The current collection uses direct publisher URLs, with no affiliate tracking added. If we add affiliate links later, we will clearly say that PeraNabi may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and mark those links with sponsored and nofollow attributes.

A small, useful website

The hub uses system fonts and locally hosted assets. It has no external analytics or tracking scripts. Every resource is readable without JavaScript; JavaScript only adds filters to the resource shelf.
