Who We Are

The PeraNabi hub is a free Japanese-learning resource site at https://peranabi.com, with a planned weekly newsletter. It is run by GETTYS L JASON, a sole proprietor in Tokyo, Japan, under the trade name Jason Kobayashi, the same operator as the PeraNabi App. Business details are on our Commercial Disclosure page.

Scope

These terms apply to the hub's public content and newsletter. The PeraNabi App and the third-party resources we link to have their own terms. The hub's resources and newsletter are free for readers.

Acceptable Use

Use the hub for lawful language learning and resource discovery. Do not attack or overload the site or sign-up service, send spam, interfere with other readers, bypass security measures, or use the service to break the law or anyone else's rights. We may restrict abusive access to protect the service.

Learning Content and Results

Our guides and resource descriptions include curated and AI-assisted content. We work to keep it accurate, but it may contain mistakes, omissions, or outdated information. Check important details, including a resource's current price and access conditions, with its publisher.

PeraNabi is a starting point for study, not a complete course. It does not guarantee any learning result, including a JLPT result, and does not replace a teacher. Level labels are our suggestions, not official JLPT alignment.

Third-Party Links

Linked resources are run by their own creators. PeraNabi does not control or vouch for their content, availability, pricing, safety, or suitability. Following a link takes you to a service governed by its own terms and privacy policy. A listing is not a guarantee or an endorsement by the resource's publisher.

Intellectual Property

PeraNabi's original site content and design belong to us or our licensors. You may read and use them for your own learning. Do not republish or resell them beyond what applicable law or a separate licence permits. Linked resources belong to their respective rights holders.

Components or files provided under a separate open-source, Creative Commons, or other third-party licence may be used under that licence. These terms do not restrict rights granted by those licences or by applicable law.

Newsletter and Privacy

Newsletter signup is optional and uses double opt-in. When signup is available, you must confirm your email address before joining the subscriber list. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to unsubscribe you by email. See the Privacy Policy for data handling and your rights.

Sponsorship and Affiliate Disclosure

Sponsorships are coming soon. Applications, bookings, and payments are not open yet. Any future sponsorship will have its own written agreement before publication, as described on the sponsor page and Commercial Disclosure.

Sponsor placements will be clearly labelled 広告 / Sponsored. Sponsorship never buys inclusion, placement, ordering, or rankings in the resource collection, and we do not sell reviews. A sponsor already in the collection keeps its existing position and receives a sponsor disclosure; sponsorship alone does not add a resource. See our editorial policy.

There are currently no affiliate links. If we add them later, we will clearly disclose any commission and mark the links appropriately.

Availability and Our Responsibility

We provide the hub with reasonable care, but cannot promise that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular goal. Content, links, and the newsletter may change or become unavailable. You can stop using the site and unsubscribe at any time.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.

Changes to These Terms

We may change these terms when the change is in the general interest of users, or when it is reasonable and does not defeat the purpose of your agreement with us, for example to reflect changes to the hub or changes in the law. Before a change takes effect, we will announce on the site that the terms are changing, what the new terms say, and the date they take effect. A change that is not allowed on these grounds will apply to you only if you agree to it.

Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. This does not take away protections you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Disputes may be brought in the Tokyo District Court, or in any other court that has jurisdiction under the law that applies, including the courts where you live. If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
